I was an intern for Sailor Health for six months as social media manager. During this time I also worked on design collateral such as business cards, brochures, step and repeat banners, short commercials and Youtube animations. Currently, I am their permalancer for social media design and management. I have grown the following by about 500% in a year.

Social Media Management

I manage the Sailor Health social media accounts including Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. Considering the target audience is an audience that does not typically use social media often (65+ aged adults), social media ideas do not come as easy as say a trendy Gen Z company. This includes competitor and market research, strategic planning based on older adult’s most active time of day, as well as particular design that resonates with older age groups.

Animations

Alongside videos for reels, I have also made animations for a few advertisements/commercials as well as YouTube shorts for Sailor Health. Primarily using Adobe After Effects for animations and Capcut for video editing. These require strong branding knowledge, a good pacing, volume, and type size for older adults to be able to digest the information.
